Dubai is the world's most audacious city — a place where man-made islands, the world's tallest building, and luxury hotels shaped like sails rise from the Arabian desert in just a few decades. Beyond the spectacle, Dubai rewards those who explore its labyrinthine gold and spice souks, its world-class food scene, its desert dunes at sunset, and its remarkably warm hospitality that reflects the genuine spirit of Emirati culture.

Insider Travel Tips
Visit Nov–Mar Only
Dubai's summers are brutally hot (45°C+). November–March is ideal with 20–28°C. Avoid June–September unless you plan to spend most time indoors.
Dress Code Awareness
Dubai is tolerant of tourist clothing at hotels and malls, but dress modestly when visiting mosques, souks, and traditional areas. Shoulders and knees covered for both genders.
Luxury Costs Add Up
Dubai hotel prices are high. Budget for taxis (cheap), meals ($15–$50), and activities. Alcohol is only available at licensed hotels and restaurants — budget accordingly.
Ramadan Planning
During Ramadan (dates change annually), no eating or drinking in public during daylight hours. Some entertainment venues close early. Museums and souks stay open.
When to Visit
Winter (Nov–Mar)
Perfect weather 20–28°C. Peak tourist season. Book hotels and activities well ahead.
Spring (Apr–May)
Warming up, 28–35°C. Good shoulder season deals before summer heat.
Summer (Jun–Sep)
45°C+ with 90%+ humidity. Indoor activities only. Deeply discounted hotel rates.
Autumn (Oct)
Temperatures dropping. Good value. Often combined with Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix (November).
